The Beauty of A Blossum

The beauty of delicate white blossoms growing in the middle of a wooded area is quite surprising, in that it is surrounded by nothing but brown barren, leafless and somewhat lifeless trees that have yet to awaken from their winter slumber. As I walked up a small clearing, I could smell the strong fragrance before I could actually see the trees themselves.

*** Photographed w/ Polaroid 440 Land camera, 665 100 ISO Black & White film in late afternoon sunlight/shade. Image was scanned and worked on using PS, levels, contrast were slightly adjusted, sharpened, dodged and burned.***
