I spent a wonderful late afternoon with Dustin & Samantha photographing their engagement session on the Capitol grounds afterwards we headed down on Congress to capture some awesome low light images of them just cuddling, huggin & just loving on each other for my camera.

Roeana & I really enjoyed spending some time with the both of you, it was great that we were able to use the time to get to know you both just a little more. Take care of each other, Samantha we look forward to your bridal.

Williams Wedding

What a beautiful day for a wedding, the temperatures dropped, the clouds moved in & rain came down for a little while, nothing could stop the beautiful wedding that I documented on this day.

Clarence & Corrine were united in marriage this past Saturday & it could not have been a more perfect day. I'm sure Clarence would agree that his bride looked amazingly beautiful, God bless the both of you & may the Lord bless your marriage all the days of your lives.

Heritage Oak - Cedar Park, Texas

I pass this 300 plus year old oak tree every time I'm driving to the post office or the library. I've stopped & photographed it before but for some reason I decided to stop again, I'm not sure why, maybe it was the way light was falling on it & causing the deep dark shadows underneath the branches.

At any rate I photographed it in late afternoon sunlight using a Canon30D with a 16-35mm 2.8 L lens at F22 & ISO 100

Prints were than scanned on a flatbed scanner, re-sized, I slightly adjusted levels, contrast, color & saturation as well as brightness. I then used a Selenium action on the following Polaroid scan, to finish I used a couple of PS techniques to blur & sharpen selective areas of the Polaroid scan as well dodge & burn.

These three boys will run circles around any adult, they are full of lots & lots of energy & it's not always a pretty sight. I've seen their arms in slings, stitches on their faces, heads & arms. For the most part they are like many boys their age, they are full of energy that needs release.

What a wonderful time we had Saturday, Chris & LaRhonda celebrated their wedding with many of their friends & family, some traveled from far away to see her get married. The weather was bad outdoors but that didn't dampen the warmth, love & joy that everyone shared with the young couple. God bless you both & may your marriage be blessed forever.

An impromptu Polaroid portrait session, these two brothers are full of fun & laughs but the laughter only hides the difficult hardships they face, growing up without a father seems to be pretty common for lots of young people. Boys tend to have a harder time adjusting if at all, these two are champs & I believe they will overcome their hardships.
